Join Our Team Of Professional HGV Drivers
James Donnelly Ltd is actively seeking skilled Class 1 HGV drivers to join our transport and logistics operations. This role offers competitive pay, excellent working conditions, and opportunities for further training and career development. Drivers will operate across the UK and Ireland, handling diverse routes and deliveries while ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently. Applicants must hold a full Class 1 HGV licence for at least two years, have no more than three penalty points, and possess a solid understanding of driver hours, rules, regulations, and geographical knowledge of the UK and Ireland. ADR certification is advantageous but not essential.

Local NI + ROI HGV driver C+E
We are seeking reliable HGV Drivers (C+E) for local work across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The role includes a mix of collections and deliveries, with occasional shipping loads to England. This position is ideal for someone who prefers a varied workload. Dependability is essential, as many of our deliveries are time-sensitive.
Cross channel HGV driver C+E
We are recruiting Cross-Channel HGV Drivers (C+E) to work primarily out of the Cairnryan ports throughout the week. The role involves tipping 4–5 loads on average and reloading a variety of load types for return journeys home. Occasional runs to England are also required.
We are based outside Portglenone, County Antrim (NI), and cannot outbase lorries. Applicants under 25 may be considered subject to insurance approval.
